Panel Resurrection
Panel resurrection is the careful process of bringing badly damaged, distorted, stretched, collapsed, or compromised original panels back to proper form.
This is the type of work represented by the Gullwing Resurrection Project: controlled metal shrinking, stretching, alignment correction, buck fitting, shape recovery, surface refinement, and preservation of original material wherever possible.
